This week we practiced using "past continuous" to talk about what someone was doing at a time in the past. In the picture we can see what Mike and Louise were doing yesterday at different times. 8AM: Mike was eating breakfast at 8:00. Louise was still sleeping at 8:00. 10AM: At 10:00 Mike was playing tennis and Louise was doing some shopping. 3PM: At 3:00 in the afternoon Mike was reading the newspaper and Louise was swimming. 9PM: Both Mike and Louise were dancing at 9:00. This week in Unit 3 we learned about different activities people do for fun. We also talked about if people are good at something or not. There are many different free time activities and hobbies that people like or love. The important thing is that you spend your time doing the kinds of activities you think are fun, enjoyable, and hopefully they help improve your life too. LEAVE A COMMENT
