Instructions:
Interview a family member or a friend about their favorite TV shows. Ask these questions: 1. What is your favorite TV show? 2. What channel is it on? 3. What day is it on? 4. What time is it on? 5. How often do you watch it? 6. Why do you like it? 7. Are there any other TV shows you really like? What are they? LEAVE A COMMENT Write a paragraph with the answers to all the questions. ***Remember your name(nickname), class, number*** ***Remember good spelling and grammar*** ***Remember to use English*** ***Remember to have fun*** Good Luck!! (For a bonus point you can interview one more person and write one more paragraph) This week we have been learning about different countries. We also learned the "nationality" word used to describe someone or something from a country. We also looked at the languages spoken in different countries. Your teacher is from the United States of America (USA/America). I am American. English is my first language. Americans usually speak English. Sometimes the nationality word is the same as the language. For example: A person from Thailand is Thai, they also speak Thai. LEAVE A COMMENT
Step 1: Choose someone from any country in the world. (not yourself) Step 2: What country does he/she come from? Step 3: What nationality is he/she? Step 4: What language does he/she speak? Step 5: Why did you choose this person? (You cannot choose the same person as another student. Everyone must choose a different person.) Want a bonus point? Repeat Steps 1-5 but this time choose a different person. Examples: Teacher Dallas is from America. He is American. He speaks English. I chose Teacher Dallas because he is my IEP teacher and he is the best teacher ever since he is smart and funny. Prayuth Chan-o-cha is from Thailand. He is Thai. He speaks Thai. I chose Prayuth because he is the Prime Minister of Thailand. I like listening to him speak on TV. He usually talks about interesting things but sometimes he can be boring. GOOD LUCK!!! ***Remember your name(nickname), class, number*** LEAVE A COMMENT
1. What did you at school on Thai Culture Day? 2. How did you feel? 3. What did you wear? (Use adjectives) (Try to use "and", "because", "but", "so" to make your sentences longer and more interesting) ***Remember your name (nickname), class, number*** |
